Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking a Market Intelligence Officer within the Intelligence & Insights team to research, analyse and interpret market data to support domestic and international student recruitment across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

You will collaborate with the Market Intelligence Specialist to deliver insights from primary and secondary research, informing recruitment strategies and understanding of student channels.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of sales and marketing principles
• Experience in student recruitment or higher education market research
• Strong data analytics and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations

Responsibilities

• Help conduct quantitative and/or qualitative research, including surveys, recruitment, focus groups, interviews, and mystery shopping.
• Perform desk research and monitor higher education reports to identify emerging trends.
• Analyse and interpret primary and secondary data to produce clear, actionable reports and presentations.
• Share insights with internal stakeholders to support recruitment strategies, decision-making and enhanced understanding of student channels
