Job summary

University of Sydney is seeking a Market Intelligence Officer to research, analyse and interpret market intelligence for domestic and international student recruitment across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

You will collaborate with the Market Intelligence Specialist to deliver insightful reports and presentations, supporting recruitment strategies and understanding student channels. Strong quantitative or qualitative research and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of sales and marketing principles and higher education landscape.
• Specialist in one research discipline (quantitative or qualitative) or strong dual skills with project management.
• Strong communication to present complex information clearly.
• Analytical proficiency with the listed tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative and/or qualitative research, including surveys, focus groups and interviews.
• Desk research and monitoring of higher education reports to identify trends.
• Analyse primary and secondary data to produce actionable reports and presentations.
• Share insights with stakeholders to inform recruitment strategies and decision-making.
