Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking an Admissions Officer to join the Admissions Office. You will work with the Admissions Manager and the Team Leader to ensure accurate and timely recruitment and admission of students, and to implement business process improvements within admissions.

You will update application records and databases, ensure admissions decisions comply with policies, and contribute to high-volume admissions administration.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in higher education Admissions.
• Experience in administrative competencies and high-level office administration in admissions or related sectors.
• Highly organised with ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Delivers high-volume daily administration with proactive staff, student and agent support.
• Ability to interpret policy and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience or understanding of the UAC admission process desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and producing/interpreting reports.
