Job summary

Arc UNSW is seeking a motivated Student Officer to drive Culture Café initiatives on the UNSW Kensington Campus. You’ll lead volunteers, coordinate weekly sessions, and help scale events while staying within budget and timelines.

You’ll collaborate with clubs, colleges and external partners to boost engagement, manage logistics, safety briefings, and document outcomes. A great chance to gain hands-on leadership in a student organisation.

Qualifications

• A UNSW student in 2027.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and public speaking.
• High attention to detail with proven organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Culture Café ambassador and collaborate with supervisor and stakeholders including clubs, colleges, external vendors and staff members to facilitate involvement across the UNSW community.
• Manage weekly CC sessions and stalls, ensuring ideation and execution align with CC goals and metrics.
• Assist in developing project plans, timelines, budgets, volunteer rosters and run sheets for events.
• Deliver large-scale events with involvement in ideation, timelines, rosters and logistics.
• Evaluate event success and identify areas for improvement.
• Generate marketing ideas for Culture Café sessions and events.
• Maintain content across online platforms to engage students in digital spaces.
