Job summary

Robert Bird Group in Melbourne is seeking Experienced Structural Engineers to join our Construction Engineering team. You will work at the interface between design and construction to solve complex engineering challenges on major projects.

You will deliver specialist staged analysis, construction methodology and temporary works design, collaborating with contractors and delivery teams to ensure quality, safety and timely project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ Structural engineering industry experience.
• Experience in the delivery of temporary works design is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of Australian codes and standards.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Full working rights.

Responsibilities

• Detailed structural design of innovative temporary works and associated impacts on permanent works
• Client liaison, in conjunction with Project Directors and Associates, regarding current and future projects
• Active involvement in project resources management, in conjunction with the Project Directors
• Successfully deliver current and future projects, while supporting RBG's reputation for innovation, technical excellence, quality, and project delivery
• Proactively collaborating with team members, contributors, and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness, and co-ordination of project deliverables
