Job summary

Robert Bird Group (RBG) is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Construction Engineering team in Melbourne. You will work at the interface of design and construction, solving complex engineering challenges with experienced contractors and delivery teams.

Key duties include detailed temporary works design, documentation, and active involvement in project resource management while maintaining our standards of innovation, quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of structural engineering industry experience.
• Experience in temporary works design preferred.
• Strong understanding of Australian codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Full working rights to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Detailed structural design of innovative temporary works and related permanent works.
• Client liaison with Project Directors and Associates on current and future projects.
• Active involvement in project resource management with Project Directors.
• Deliver projects while upholding RBG's reputation for innovation and quality.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure quality and timely deliverables.
