Job summary

Robert Bird Group is seeking Senior Structural Engineers in Melbourne to join our Construction Engineering team. You will provide specialist staged analysis, construction methodology and temporary works design for major projects in Melbourne.

Role involves client liaison with Project Directors, active project involvement, and delivering high-quality reports and drawings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ Structural engineering industry experience.
• Experience in temporary works design is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of Australian codes and standards.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in delivering detailed engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Detailed structural design of temporary works and impacts on permanent works.
• Client liaison with Project Directors and Associates on current and future projects.
• Active involvement in projects including resource management with Project Directors.
• Deliver current and future projects showcasing innovation, technical excellence and quality.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and coordination.
