Job summary

TAL Australia is seeking a Strategy Manager to define and deliver strategic priorities that drive growth and success. You will work within a high-performing Strategy team, collaborating with executives to identify opportunities, manage risks, and lead initiatives that strengthen TAL's competitive position.

You will co-develop corporate strategy, drive planning processes, and build models to extract insights from data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in business, commerce, engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
• 3+ years in strategy consulting or corporate strategy within financial services.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills for senior audiences.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights in Excel.
• Passion for problem-solving and results-driven mindset.
• Experience in life insurance, superannuation, financial services and tech domains is valued.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop and refine the corporate strategy aligned with TAL's long-term goals.
• Drive annual strategy planning, including executive offsites and Board input.
• Perform market analysis, benchmarking and industry trend assessments.
• Build and own complex models to support strategic projects and insights.
• Collaborate with Executives, Senior Leaders and external partners on strategy topics.
