Job summary

TOM People partners with a leading Australian financial services client to appoint a Strategy Manager into its Corporate Strategy team in Sydney. This is an opportunity for a strategy consultant eager to move into industry while continuing to influence high-impact growth initiatives.

You will lead growth projects, evaluate potential investments and support M&A, and provide strategic advice to senior executives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a strategy consulting practice (top firms preferred)
• Strong exposure to growth or corporate strategy engagements
• Excellent structured problem-solving and analytical capability
• Experience presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Financial services experience is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects focused on growth opportunities, market expansion and adjacent businesses
• Evaluate potential investments and support M&A assessments
• Develop strategic recommendations for Executive and Board-level stakeholders
• Deliver market and competitor intelligence
• Support the annual corporate strategy process
• Analyse industry, regulatory and economic developments and assess their strategic implications
• Structure and solve complex, ambiguous business problems
