Job summary

Tasman Rope Access is seeking a seasoned Workforce Planner to coordinate 90–21 day planning across Australia, overseeing labour, equipment and resources for shutdowns and projects.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will liaise with clients and internal teams, monitor fatigue, and ensure rosters are accurate and timely in a fast-paced, inclusive environment. Microsoft 365, Excel and integrated planning systems are used daily to drive decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting client labour forecasts and managing large schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Solutions-focused and proactive with strong people skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret long-term forecast and reflect in internal systems.
• Maintain master roster and advance workforce allocations.
• Coordinate labour and equipment with client planners and internal teams.
• Monitor fatigue management and raise concerns as needed.
• Confirm personnel availability and roster shifts for projects.
• Coordinate vehicle and equipment bookings in advance.
• Prepare handovers to the short-term planning team.
• Support recruitment and planning managers with forecasting and trade coverage.
