Job summary

Mammoet Australia is seeking a proactive Workforce Coordinator to join the Planning & Logistics team in Booragoon, WA. The role focuses on workforce availability, compliance and readiness for major resource sector shutdowns, with liaison across operations and subcontractors.

Based in our Booragoon head office in Perth, the position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with opportunities to contribute to broader planning activities as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in planning or mobilisation within the resources sector.
  • Familiarity with SPEAR, Workflow, Enable, INX, Pegasus or similar systems.
  • Shutdown environment experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast workload for busy rotating shutdowns.
  • Pool resources using internal and external systems.
  • Coordinate international, domestic and site flights.
  • Liaise with clients, operations, fieldworkers and subcontractors.
  • Administer rosters and R&R variations at peak periods.
  • Manage leave planning and fatigue monitoring.
  • Plan training renewals and compliance.

Job description

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Mammoet is seeking a proactive and highly organised Workforce Coordinator to join our Australian Planning & Logistics team. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure workforce availability, compliance, and operational readiness across major resource sector shutdowns. Working closely with operations teams and subcontractors, you’ll coordinate workforce logistics, roster management, fatigue monitoring, leave planning, and training compliance to keep crews shutdown-ready. You'll also support broader planning activities, with opportunities to develop into, or provide coverage for, wider planning responsibilities as business needs evolve.

The role is based in our Booragoon Head office within Perth on a Full-Time Monday-Friday basis.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Workforce forecasting for busy rotating shutdown schedule
  • Using internal and external systems to pool resources for jobs
  • Coordinating international, domestic and site charter flights
  • Liaising with clients, internal operations team, fieldworkers, and subcontractors
  • Administering rosters including R&R variations around peak periods
  • Leave administration
  • Fatigue day planning and hours monitoring
  • Proactive training renewal planning
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • Experience in a planning or mobilisation role within the resources sector
  • Working knowledge of resources sector systems like: SPEAR, Workflow, Enable, INX, Pegasus or similar
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with others in a dynamic team environment
  • Adaptable and resilient to changing priorities
  • Experience within a shutdown environment is highly regarded
