Job summary

Queensland Department of Education is seeking an experienced Business Manager for Clontarf Beach State High School. You will lead corporate services, provide strategic financial and HR leadership, and work closely with the Principal to support school operations and the strategic direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the school's financial management, including budget development, monitoring, reporting and providing strategic financial advice.
• Lead and develop school support staff, overseeing workforce planning, recruitment, induction, capability development and HR processes.
• Provide strategic oversight of facilities, assets and resources, including maintenance and improvement projects.
• Develop and improve administrative systems, processes and practices to support efficient operations.
• Manage competing priorities and provide practical solutions to complex challenges.
• Build strong relationships with staff, students, families, departmental personnel, contractors and community stakeholders.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, service-focused team culture and staff development.
• Provide advice, influence decision-making and identify opportunities to implement contemporary business practices.
