Job summary

Clontarf Beach State School in Brisbane is seeking a capable Facilities Assistant to support daily operations. You will manage mail, deliveries, classroom setup, and stocktakes, assist with security, and help maintain grounds and buildings.

Applicants should be prepared to perform routine repairs, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with the Principal and Business Manager on maintenance tasks. This temporary position is open to Expressions of Interest and may extend up to 12 months.

Qualifications

• Daily operational duties including mail, deliveries, photocopying, classroom setup, stocktaking.
• Assist with school security by operating security systems and locking/unlocking buildings.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and presentation of grounds and facilities.
• Undertake routine repairs and maintenance of buildings, furniture and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily operational duties and prepare classrooms for activities.
• Assist with security and transport of school funds as required.
• Maintain school grounds, facilities and equipment records.
