Job summary

Recruitment 24/7 is seeking a Rostering Officer to support workforce planning, onboarding, roster compliance, and payroll verification across disability, aged care and community services. The role centers on proactive staffing, timely rosters, and effective liaison between clinical teams, recruitment, and clients.

You will monitor staffing levels, coordinate training and onboarding, manage after-hours rosters, and help minimise overtime costs while maintaining service quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience rostering in healthcare, disability, aged care or community services.
• Strong administrative and payroll verification skills.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Knowledge of rostering principles and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor rosters to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Ensure rosters are finalised, distributed, and published on schedule.
• Monitor roster compliance with policies, awards, and fatigue management.
• Maintain records of roster changes, shortages and escalations.
• Support after-hours and on-call rostering as directed.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Recruitment, Operations, and Admin teams.
