Job summary

RSL LifeCare Limited in Ramsgate, NSW, is seeking a Workforce Scheduler to optimise rostering for our Home Care services. The role runs Monday to Friday, 6am–2pm, and focuses on aligning staff skills with client needs while maintaining high-quality, person-centred care.

You will manage rosters across multiple sites, act as first point of contact for care staff, ensure compliance with EBAs and workplace agreements, and support continuous improvement through audits and KPI monitoring.

Qualifications

• Experience with rostering systems and database management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems.
• Knowledge of EBAs, penalty rates, and scheduling across multiple sites.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to person-centred care and respect for diversity.

Responsibilities

• Manage accurate and timely rostering of services to meet client needs and organisational standards.
• Act as the first point of contact for care staff regarding rostering requirements.
• Ensure compliance with aged care standards, funding requirements, WHS, and enterprise agreements.
• Collaborate with clients, their support networks, and care coordinators to uphold client choice and dignity.
• Monitor KPIs related to travel time, missed services, and labour hire.
• Provide training and support on rostering systems and processes.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
