Job summary

The Australian Energy Regulator in Canberra seeks a Senior Recruitment Advisor to lead the Recruitment Team and apply APS recruitment frameworks to support hiring managers in acquiring capabilities needed to deliver strategic outcomes.

This APS6 role requires specialist knowledge, strong client service, and collaborative stakeholder engagement within a dynamic public sector environment.

Qualifications

• Specialist knowledge of APS recruitment frameworks and related legislation, strategies, policies, guidance, systems and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to collate and assess information to develop recruitment plans.
• Experience providing exceptional client service, preferably in a human resources field.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field such as psychology or willingness to gain professional accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Recruitment Team's day-to-day activities.
• Support managers to identify and plan recruitment needs.
• Advertise and promote employment opportunities.
• Administer TechnologyOne recruitment system and onboarding processes.
• Advise applicants of outcomes and issue offers of employment.
• Collaborate to develop recruitment plans aligned with the agency's strategic plan.
