Job summary

The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) is seeking a Senior Recruitment Advisor to lead the AER Recruitment Team, ensuring systems, practices and guidance support recruitment across the agency. You will apply APS recruitment expertise and deliver services that enable hiring managers to meet strategic goals.

Key duties include managing day-to-day recruitment activities, system administration, stakeholder collaboration, and guiding onboarding and offers.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment within the APS framework.
• Ability to advise and influence managers on recruitment matters.
• Strong client service and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Recruitment Team’s day-to-day activities and provide guidance to hiring managers.
• Advertise and promote employment opportunities and administer the online recruitment system (TechnologyOne).
• Prepare and issue offers; support onboarding and position establishment; coordinate merit lists and transfers.
• Collaborate to enhance recruitment configuration in the ERP system and develop recruitment plans to deliver strategic capabilities.
