Job summary

The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Recruitment Advisor to lead the Recruitment Team and support managers in acquiring capabilities to deliver the agency’s strategic plan.

Working with limited direction, you will manage day-to-day activities, advertise roles, oversee TechnologyOne recruitment modules, and drive onboarding, merit lists and transfers across the APS.

Qualifications

• Specialist knowledge of APS recruitment frameworks and related legislation.
• Ability to collate and assess information to develop recruitment plans.
• Demonstrated experience providing exceptional client service in HR.
• Willingness to gain professional accreditation in HR.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Recruitment Team’s day-to-day activities.
• Advertise and promote employment opportunities.
• Administer the online recruitment system (TechnologyOne).
• Support onboarding and merit list processes.
• Collaborate to develop recruitment plans to deliver strategic capability.
• Influence employees and managers on recruitment policies.

Education

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field (e.g., Psychology)

Psychology qualification or related field
