Job summary

The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) seeks a Senior Recruitment Advisor to lead the Recruitment Team and ensure efficient end-to-end recruitment processes across the agency. You will apply APS recruitment frameworks, manage offers and onboarding, and collaborate with hiring managers to deliver the agency’s strategic plan.

You will provide exceptional service, governance, and guidance while working with stakeholders to optimise recruitment outcomes for the organisation.

Qualifications

• Specialist knowledge of APS recruitment frameworks and related legislation, policies, guidance, systems.
• Experience collating information to develop recruitment plans.
• Experience providing exceptional client service in HR.

Responsibilities

• Manage the AER Recruitment Team’s day-to-day activities.
• Advertise and promote employment opportunities.
• Administer the online recruitment system (TechnologyOne) including applications handling and onboarding.
• Facilitate merit lists and transfers with APS agencies.
• Develop recruitment plans with stakeholders to deliver the agency’s strategic plan.
• Advise managers on recruitment policies and procedures and provide guidance.
