Job summary

Victoria Police Academy in Glen Waverley is seeking a Project Officer to deliver and coordinate projects, governance activities and business improvements for the People Development division. You will support the Academy Operations Manager and leadership team with planning, reporting and stakeholder liaison.

The role focuses on governance, risk, and continuous improvement, with strong emphasis on collaboration across the Academy and wider Victoria Police.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects and coordinating multiple initiatives.
• Ability to prepare briefs, reports and governance documentation for senior stakeholders.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate assigned projects and business initiatives, including monitoring milestones, risks and deliverables.
• Prepare reports, briefs and governance documentation for the Academy Operations Manager and leadership team.
• Contribute to strategic planning, compliance, risk management and business improvement across the division.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across the Academy, People Development and Victoria Police.
• Provide event coordination support as required.
