Victoria Police in Melbourne seeks a Senior Policy / Projects Advisor within the Crime Strategy and Projects Division (CSPD) to lead policy and reform initiatives and drive delivery of strategic priorities. You will report to the Manager CSPD and collaborate with Police and Victorian Public Service staff, coordinating stakeholder feedback, preparing high-level briefings, and informing executive decisions.

The role supports flexible working arrangements and requires vetting and pre-employment

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience leading policy and law reform projects.
Excellent written and oral communication with senior management.
Ability to prepare strategic advice and briefings.
Strong organisational skills and multitasking ability.
Desirable tertiary degree in a relevant field.

Responsabilités

Managing policy, projects, and legislative reform activities throughout policy and project cycles.
Reviewing and coordinating stakeholder feedback on Cabinet submissions and strategy documents.
Providing concise verbal and written advice to senior management with briefings and options papers.
Maintaining knowledge of current issues and representing CSPD on committees.
Contributing to the Crime Group to meet targets within budget and policy framework.
