Job summary

DRA Global is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer in Perth to develop and execute procurement strategies supporting project delivery. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers and contractors to ensure efficient, compliant procurement aligned with company standards.

You will lead supplier evaluation, negotiate contracts, manage the lifecycle of procurement activities, and monitor spend against budgets, while building strong relationships across teams in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a procurement role, preferably within project-based engineering, mining, construction, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, sourcing methodologies, and contract negotiation.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and contract performance.
• Proficiency with procurement and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for materials, equipment, and services.
• Identify, assess, and qualify suppliers and contractors based on quality, capability, cost, and project requirements.
• Lead contract negotiations to secure favourable terms and delivery outcomes.
• Manage contract lifecycle activities, including administration, compliance, and renewals.
• Oversee the end-to-end procurement process from requisition through to delivery.
• Collaborate with project teams to forecast procurement requirements and support project schedules.
• Monitor procurement expenditure and performance against budget targets.
• Manage supplier performance, quality assurance issues, and contractual obligations.
• Build and maintain strong supplier and contractor relationships.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, and contract registers.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
