Job summary

DRA Global is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to lead end-to-end procurement for projects. The role collaborates with project managers, engineers, suppliers and contractors to deliver compliant, cost-effective outcomes.

You will develop sourcing strategies, qualify suppliers, and negotiate contracts while managing the lifecycle of procurement activities. A proactive, commercially minded professional with ERP experience will thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a procurement role within project-based environments.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, sourcing methodologies and contract negotiation.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and contract performance.
• Proficiency with procurement and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for materials, equipment and services.
• Identify, assess and qualify suppliers and contractors based on quality, cost and project needs.
• Lead contract negotiations to secure favourable terms and delivery outcomes.
• Manage contract lifecycle activities including administration, compliance and renewals.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement from requisition through to delivery.
• Collaborate with project teams to forecast procurement requirements and schedules.
• Monitor procurement expenditure and performance against budgets.
• Manage supplier performance, quality assurance issues, and contractual obligations.
• Build and maintain strong supplier and contractor relationships.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation and contract registers.
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
