Job summary

DRA Global in Perth is seeking a Project Controls Manager to oversee planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting across engineering projects. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration with project teams.

You will develop schedules, manage budgets, monitor variances, and integrate risk management into project plans. The role offers a full-time permanent position at our Perth office and opportunities to mentor a growing controls team.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience in project controls management.
• Proven knowledge of project controls principles.
• Proficiency in project management software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, WBS, and resource-loaded schedules in coordination with project managers.
• Implement scheduling methodologies and tools to optimize timelines and resource allocation.
• Monitor schedule performance, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions.
• Develop cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for engineering projects.
• Monitor project expenditures, track budget variances, and analyse cost performance against baselines.
• Coordinate with finance and procurement for accurate cost accounting and reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate risk management strategies into plans.
• Provide timely analysis of performance data, trends, and forecasts to support decisions.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation for audit trails and histories.
• Lead and mentor a team of project controls professionals.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align controls activities with project requirements.
