Job summary

DRA Global is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to develop and execute procurement strategies that support project delivery within mining, minerals, and metals sectors. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure efficient, compliant procurement aligned with company standards.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a procurement role, preferably within project-based engineering, mining, construction, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, sourcing methodologies, and contract negotiation.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and contract performance.
• Proficiency with procurement and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmen.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations to secure favourable commercial terms and delivery outcomes.

• Oversee the end-to-end procurement process from requisition through to delivery.
• Collaborate with project teams to forecast procurement requirements and support project schedules.
• Monitor procurement expenditure and performance against budget targets.
• Manage supplier performance, quality assurance issues, and contractual obligations.
• Build and maintain strong supplier and contractor relationships.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, and contract registers.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

About the Role:

As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will develop and execute procurement strategies that support project delivery goals.
