Victoria Police is seeking two VPSG-5 Senior Policy/Projects Advisors to drive strategic policy and legislative reforms across family violence, sexual offences and child abuse. You will analyze trends, prepare cabinet submissions, and lead major policy projects while collaborating across government and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in policy and legislative development and reform of service delivery.
• Experience in family violence, sexual assault or child abuse fields.
• Ability to conduct complex research and provide authoritative advice to stakeholders.
• Experience in managing multiple pieces of work with strict timeframes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop policy analysis, advice and support for Victoria Police and reform agenda across themes.
• Develop cabinet submissions, legislative change proposals and organisational policies.
• Support coronial proceedings and witness preparation.
• Deliver key projects including implementation of policy and legislative changes across themes.
• Engage with external government and sector stakeholders and internal teams.
