Job summary

Vell is a fast-growing fintech company expanding partnerships across Australia. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead strategic collaborations with financial institutions, fintech platforms, and commercial partners.

This role focuses on building long-term partnerships, not transactional sales. You will work with product and compliance teams to onboard partners, identify embedded finance opportunities, and expand Vell's ecosystem through channel partnerships and integrations

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic sales.
• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of the Australian payments and fintech ecosystem.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop partnership structures that drive mutual value and long-term collaboration
• Lead negotiations and commercial discussions with potential partners
• Expand Vell's presence in Australia through channel partnerships and ecosystem integrations
• Identify opportunities for embedded finance and white-label payment solutions
• Work with product and compliance teams to support partner onboarding
• Provide insights on market opportunities, competitors, and emerging fintech trends
