Job summary

Vell group, an expanding fintech in Australia, seeks a Treasury & Financial Services Manager to lead treasury activities, oversee payments operations, and ensure regulatory compliance across the organisation.

You will manage liquidity across accounts and partners, monitor FX exposure, develop treasury controls, and collaborate with product, operations and technology to support scalable financial services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in treasury, payments, financial services operations, or fintech.
• Strong understanding of foreign exchange and cross-border payment processes.
• Familiarity with Australian financial services regulatory frameworks.
• Experience managing liquidity, settlement, or treasury operations.
• Strong analytical and risk management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage liquidity across operational accounts and payment partners.
• Monitor and manage foreign exchange exposure related to payment transactions.
• Develop and maintain treasury controls and risk management processes.
• Ensure financial services operations align with regulatory obligations.
• Work with compliance teams to implement risk management and control frameworks.
• Work with product, operations, and technology teams to support the delivery of financial services.
• Support the ongoing improvement of operational systems and financial processes.
