Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) in Sydney, Australia, is seeking an analytical Business Development professional to partner with sales teams and internal stakeholders to shape deals from concept to signed contract.

This role emphasizes financial modeling, market research, cross-border considerations, RFP support, and clear business narratives for CFO approval. Travel up to 20% across APAC, US, and other regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Three or more years of finance/corporate finance, consulting, accounting, audit or sales operations experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; able to build basic financial models and interpret statements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; VBA or scripting (Python) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and present financial models evaluating deal economics, ROI and total cost of ownership.
• Conduct macroeconomic, sector and company-level research to support deal strategy and pricing.
• Coordinate with internal experts and external advisors in legal, regulatory, compliance, finance, tax and other matters.
• Resolve issues related to payment terms, invoicing, shipping, and tax by coordinating with partners and cross-functional teams.
• Translate technical solutions into quantified business value narratives for clients and internal stakeholders.
