Job summary

AWS National Security team in Australia seeks a Principal Account Executive to lead strategic account plans, drive cloud adoption, and manage multi-year government deals for national security customers.

You will build trusted advisor relationships with senior government stakeholders, collaborate with Solutions Architecture, and navigate complex procurement processes to deliver mission-critical cloud solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with government or large enterprise customers.
• Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for national security customers to drive AWS cloud adoption and revenue growth.
• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with C-suite and senior government stakeholders.
• Partner with Solutions Architecture and specialist teams to design and deliver cloud solutions for mission-critical environments.
• Navigate complex government procurement processes and manage multi-year deal cycles.
• Collaborate with AWS Professional Services to implement solutions and packaged offerings.
• Represent AWS at industry events and senior government forums.
• Drive pipeline generation and forecast accuracy across your account portfolio.
