Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Principal Account Executive for Defence in ANZ to lead enterprise workloads across the Australian Defence Organisation. You will own the enterprise account strategy, drive revenue growth, and build executive relationships to position AWS as Defence's long-term cloud partner.

Australian citizens with AGSVA NV1+ clearance eligibility are required. Travel up to 10% is expected as part of Defence engagement.

Qualifications

10+ years of enterprise technology sales experience.
Experience with Australia's Defence Organisation or similar security environment.
Proven ability to build and maintain executive relationships at SES 2+ or C-suite.

Responsibilities

Own and execute the enterprise account strategy for Defence. Build a qualified pipeline from shaping to contract.
Develop executive relationships with Defence decision-makers and DDG leadership.
Identify and shape opportunities to migrate and modernise Defence workloads onto AWS.
Develop compelling business cases showing operational and cost benefits of cloud adoption.
Meet or exceed revenue targets; maintain a high-growth quota trajectory.
Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Security & Compliance, and Partners to meet security and sovereignty requirements.
Navigate Defence procurement pathways and ensure compliant solutions.
