Job summary

Simplerecruit in Melbourne's Southbank is seeking a motivated Mortgage Broker with 2 years' experience to join our growing team.

You will meet clients, provide strategic loan advice, assess borrowing capacity, gather paperwork, liaise with lenders, and support investment and SMSF strategies while upholding NCCP and ASIC best interests duties.

A base salary of $80,000–$100,000 plus commission and superannuation accompanies a weekday schedule.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Broker.
• Must have Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or Diploma & Professional MFAA or FBAA membership.
• Experience with SMSF loans, lender policy knowledge, quick refinancing turnaround, and off-the-plan lending solutions.

Responsibilities

• Client Liaison with new and existing clients to understand financial goals and requirements.
• Assess borrowing capacity and provide personalized mortgage strategy advice; recommend lender options.
• Gather necessary paperwork and guide admin to complete lender applications smoothly.
• Ensure compliance with NCCP and ASIC regulations and uphold best-interests duty.
