Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Growth Manager to identify and secure new business in the Australian maritime sector. You will leverage an existing network and lead client engagement, opportunity shaping and proposal development to deliver impactful outcomes for national security programs.

You will build relationships across Defence, Government and industry, while guiding proposal writing and collaboration with teams to expand Gibbs & Cox capabilities within Leidos Australia.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success delivering projects in engineering, program management or Defence capability development.
• Ability to develop high quality written proposals.
• Established professional network in the Australian naval and/or marine sector.
• Leadership capability with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial judgement and pragmatic decision-making.
• Australian citizen

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Gibbs & Cox capabilities and objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships across Defence, Government and industry.
• Lead client engagement and opportunity shaping activities, including supporting management colleagues.
• Prepare high quality proposals, white papers, and tender responses.
• Manage internal new business approval processes.
• Support strategic partnerships and teaming arrangements.
