You will build a high-performing team, engage senior leadership, and drive strategic opportunities with government and industry partners. The role requires deep knowledge of defence budgeting, procurement pathways, and foreign military sales concepts, plus strong negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Experience leading growth in defence or tech programs.
• Strong knowledge of Australian defence budgeting and acquisition processes.
• Proven ability to build and scale a team.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with acquisition programs; ability to shape, develop and close contracts.

Responsibilities

• Shape and implement a strategic growth plan to capture Programs of Record.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team in-region.
• Collaborate with BD, PM, and Legal to craft proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Identify and address gaps to accelerate defence program capture.
• Engage executive leadership and support regional travel as needed.
