Job summary

Saronic Technologies seeks an experienced Director of Growth to lead shaping and capture opportunities with Australia, New Zealand and across the AUKUS community. You will build and lead a high-performing team, guiding programs in unmanned maritime systems and shaping strategic approaches to closing gaps for defence and commercial customers.

Ideal candidate has extensive network in Australia, familiarity with procurement pathways, and prior military acquisition experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated prior team leadership experience in strategic growth with defence or technology programs – preferably with a 0 to 1 track record.

Responsibilities

• Lead the growth and strategic development of the business across Australia and the broader Indo-Pacific region.
• Shape, develop and implement a strategic approach to capture a Program of Record.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to craft proposals and negotiate favourable contracts.
• Develop innovative strategies to address unique challenges in shaping, developing and capturing Programs of Record.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards, including ITAR, cybersecurity, and defence requirements.
• Act as trusted advisor to executive leadership on market entry, contracts, and proposals strategies.
