Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Growth Manager to identify, shape and secure new business across the Australian maritime sector. Leverage your engineering, project management or Defence delivery experience to lead client engagement, opportunity shaping and proposal development.

You will work with Gibbs & Cox team to pursue opportunities, manage approvals and build strategic partnerships, delivering meaningful outcomes for national security and defence programs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success contributing to project delivery through engineering, program management or Defence capability development related roles.
• Ability to develop high quality written proposals.
• Established professional network in the Australian naval and/or marine sector.
• Demonstrated leadership capability, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial judgement and pragmatic decision-making.
• Australian Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with GCA capabilities and objectives
• Develop and maintain strong relationships across Defence, Government and industry
• Lead client engagement and opportunity shaping activities, including supporting management colleagues in customer and partner engagement activities
• Prepare high quality proposals, white papers, and tender responses
• Manage internal new business approval processes
• Support strategic partnerships and teaming arrangements
