Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management within public sector contexts.
• Proven ability to lead strategic service delivery and quality improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Experience providing high-level advice on complex operational and business issues.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of governance and accountability frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, including preparing reports, briefings and recommendations.
• Highly developed leadership skills with the ability to drive performance and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and contract management activities for externally delivered clinical services.
• Provide line management, professional development, leadership and supervision for External Providers staff.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with service providers and key stakeholders.
• Provide authoritative advice on contract management and service delivery issues.
• Lead strategic projects and service improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness.
• Monitor performance, reporting and accountability frameworks to ensure contracted services meet outcomes and standards.
• Identify emerging issues and implement solutions that improve service delivery and outcomes.
