Job summary

Clevertronics is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager - Major Projects in Sydney to identify and secure new opportunities across major construction and upgrade projects. You will engage with contractors, consultants and developers, providing practical technical and commercial guidance through the project lifecycle.

You will build strategic BD plans, manage complex customer relationships and represent Clevertronics at client meetings and industry events, driving revenue

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in business development, sales or similar in technical sectors.
• Electrical industry experience preferred but not essential.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking and commercial awareness.
• Strong organization, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new opportunities across major construction and upgrade projects.
• Build relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, wholesalers and key decision-makers.
• Develop and deliver strategic BD plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Prepare and present professional sales presentations and proposals.
• Provide technical and commercial guidance to select suitable Clevertronics solutions.
• Project manage opportunities and act as main contact through lifecycle.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements aligned with company objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support project delivery and outcomes.
• Maintain knowledge of competitors and market conditions.
• Provide regular pipeline reporting and analysis.
• Represent Clevertronics at meetings and industry events, including occasional out-of-hours.
