Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in procurement, logistics, freight or supply chain.
• Experience with international freight and domestic transport providers.
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills with a focus on cost and value.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate freight forwarders, shipping lines, 3PL providers and domestic transport suppliers.
• Negotiate freight rates, contracts and service terms with logistics suppliers.
• Coordinate logistics requirements and capacity with procurement, warehouse and operations teams.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor service performance.
• Review freight costs and analyse market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Identify and resolve supplier, service and operational issues, and recommend improvements.
