Accenture Song Melbourne seeks a Head of Strategy to shape the strategic vision and capability of our media practice. You’ll craft industry-defining work, develop new media planning approaches and build a high-performing team to navigate a complex market.

You’ll lead relationship-building with senior clients, translate insights into strategic narratives, and explore how AI can elevate thinking and outcomes. This is a leadership role in a thriving, global practice.

Qualificações

• Extensive experience in media strategy, communications planning, brand strategy or a related strategic leadership role.
• Strong portfolio of strategic work with market impact.
• Deep knowledge of marketing effectiveness and how brands grow.
• Familiarity with measurement approaches such as econometric modelling, incrementality testing and attribution.
• Experience with major brands in high-investment consumer categories.
• Strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Set the strategic vision and standards for the media strategy and planning function.
• Lead ambitious strategic thinking that translates into distinctive, effective work in market.
• Partner with senior clients to understand their most important business, brand and marketing challenges.
• Build trusted executive relationships, becoming a strategic advisor beyond formal briefs and campaign cycles.
• Apply marketing-effectiveness principles to help clients make stronger investment decisions.
• Connect brand, media, culture, customer behaviour, data and technology into clear strategic narratives.
• Lead the development of integrated media strategies across major client accounts and new business opportunities.
• Create new tools, methods and planning approaches as the media practice continues to grow.
• Explore how applied AI can improve the quality, depth and speed of strategic thinking.
• Stay close to emerging platforms, formats, technologies and audience behaviours, applying sound judgement.
• Build, coach and develop a high-performing strategy team.
• Raise the quality of strategic thinking across the broader agency through mentoring and collaboration.
• Work closely with creative, media, data, technology and consulting specialists across Accenture Song.
• Represent the practice through senior client engagement and thought leadership.
