Job summary

National Disability Services (NDS) is seeking a Learning and Development Lead to drive planning, delivery and continuous improvement of our L&D programs. Location: Sydney or Melbourne; Hybrid work with minimum 1 day in the office; full- or part-time arrangements.

You will lead program operations, strategy development, stakeholder engagement and people leadership, ensuring accessible, high-quality learning content and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex learning and development programs.
• Knowledge of the disability sector and current challenges.
• Experience leading teams would be well regarded.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and accessibility.
• Commercial acumen with partnerships or contracts experience.
• Strong communication, consultation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, budget, resourcing, marketing, delivery and improvement of L&D programs.
• Ensure legal and contractual requirements between NDS and clients are fulfilled.
• Monitor sector needs and translate insights into learning priorities.
• Identify opportunities for new commercial offerings and partnerships.
• Build strategic relationships to boost program participation.
• Promote programs in collaboration with Communications.
• Lead, support and develop L&D staff and the Lived Experience Network.
• Demonstrate accessible communications and practices; uphold NDS values.
