Job summary

APA Group is seeking a Communications Business Partner to join the Sustainability and Corporate Affairs team in Melbourne or Sydney. The role partners with senior leaders to deliver strategic communications, employee engagement and change programs that support performance and transformation.

You will work closely with Group Executives, shaping strategies and influencing audiences to connect employees with APA's strategy and future direction.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in internal communications, corporate communications or strategic communications business partnering within a complex organisation.
• Proven ability to build credibility with senior executives and operate as a trusted adviser on high-profile initiatives.
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to translate complex topics into clear employee communications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Group Executives and leadership teams to develop and deliver communication strategies aligned to priorities.
• Provide strategic communications counsel on major initiatives including technology adoption, AI enablement, employee engagement and organisational change.
• Develop leadership communications across Town Halls, executive updates, messages, speeches and content for internal channels.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influence outcomes.
• Collaborate with media, digital and broader teams to deliver consistent messaging internally and externally.
• Measure and continuously improve communication outcomes to support engagement and alignment with APA's strategy.
