Job summary

APA is seeking a Communications Business Partner to join our Sustainability and Corporate Affairs team in Melbourne or Sydney. In this role, you will partner with senior leaders to deliver strategic internal communications that support business performance and transformation.

You will craft leadership communications, advise on major initiatives, and collaborate across functions to ensure consistent messaging and high employee engagement.

Qualifications

Experience in internal or corporate communications within a complex org.
Ability to gain credibility with senior executives and act as trusted adviser.
Strong ability to translate complex topics into clear employee messages.

Responsibilities

Partner with Group Executives to develop comms strategies aligned to priorities.
Provide strategic counsel on initiatives including change and tech adoption.
Create leadership communications (town halls, updates, speeches) for internal audiences.
Build relationships with senior stakeholders and influence outcomes.
Collaborate with media, digital and other teams for consistent messaging.
Measure and improve communication outcomes to drive engagement.
