Job summary

APA Group is seeking a Communications Business Partner to join our Sustainability and Corporate Affairs team in Melbourne or Sydney on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, you will partner with senior leaders across key portfolios, delivering strategic communications and employee engagement initiatives that support performance and transformation.

This role is highly visible, shaping communication strategies, guiding executives, and connecting employees

Qualifications

• Significant experience in internal, corporate or strategic communications within a complex organisation.
• Proven ability to build credibility with senior executives and act as trusted adviser on high‑profile initiatives.
• Strong strategic thinking to connect priorities and translate topics into clear employee messages.
• Experience supporting change, transformation, technology or organisational initiatives with stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage competing executive priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Group Executives to develop and deliver communication strategies aligned to priorities.
• Provide strategic counsel on major initiatives including technology adoption and organisational change.
• Develop leadership communications across internal channels (Town Halls, updates, speeches).
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influence outcomes.
• Collaborate with media, digital and broader teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Measure and improve communication outcomes to support engagement with APA's strategy.
