Job summary

Gallagher is a global leader in insurance broking, risk management and consulting, with a strong presence across Australia. As a Business Development Executive, you will drive new business, buildClient relationships and deliver tailored insurance solutions to a diverse client base.

You will manage a pipeline, collaborate with clients to resolve issues and identify cross-marketing opportunities while staying abreast of industry trends.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• High-level presentation and leadership abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A customer-focused mindset with strong negotiation skills.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry (preferred).
• Tier 1 qualification is desirable or willingness to complete in first 6 months (Gallagher supported)

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of new business prospects and develop a sales pipeline through internal referrals and external leads.
• Prepare submissions and quotes for clients.
• Work closely with clients to resolve issues and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Identify opportunities for cross-marketing and stay informed on industry trends.
