Job summary

The Department of Defence is seeking an experienced APS6 HR/Program Coordinator to support the HR Transformation Program through the PMO within the Hire to Retire Value Chain Delivery Office. You will provide governance, reporting, planning, and risk management to enable informed executive decisions and continuous PMO improvement.

Working with considerable independence, you will help strengthen PMO capability, manage governance forums and executive dashboards, and coordinate project intake,

• Experience coordinating program or project governance, planning, reporting and assurance activities in complex environments.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to understand broader organisational priorities.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and ability to drive outcomes independently.
• Strong analytical skills to assess risks, issues, dependencies and emerging trends.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience producing executive-quality reporting and governance documentation.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and strengthening PMO practices and delivery outcomes.
