Job summary

ASC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Transformation Office, delivering a portfolio of strategic initiatives that support organisational change across the business and defence programs. You will lead planning, execution and delivery of cross-functional transformation projects, ensuring on-time delivery, within scope and aligned to business objectives.

This role offers 24-month fixed-term contracts with flexible work arrangements across Osborne SA, Henderson WA or remote

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering projects within complex, matrixed organisations.
• Strong background in project management, governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience working within or alongside a PMO.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities and delivering outcomes under pressure.
• Experience delivering technology or business transformation initiatives with large-scale programs.
• Knowledge of project management frameworks and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, Trello or similar.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery including planning, execution, reporting and closure.
• Drive project governance, PMO processes and reporting across transformation initiatives.
• Manage risks, issues and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, including executives, technical teams, vendors and partners.
• Oversee vendor and partner performance to ensure delivery aligns with contractual outcomes.
• Develop and manage resource plans to ensure projects are appropriately staffed.
• Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards and governance documentation.
• Facilitate workshops and drive alignment across complex stakeholder groups.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and uplift in project delivery practices.
