Job summary

The Australian Submarine Agency is seeking multiple APS 5 Officer roles based in Canberra to support Human Resources, Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Governance and Administration functions. You will provide advice, analysis and coordination across programs, driving efficient operations while complying with governance frameworks.

Successful candidates will manage their workload, work with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to a high-performing team focused on national priorities

Qualifications

• Experience in Human Resources, Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Governance and/or Administration.
• Ability to interpret and apply legislation and governance frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to HR, Recruitment, Governance and Administration activities, projects and initiatives.
• Provide research, analysis and advice on workforce, recruitment, governance and admin matters.
• Support recruitment processes, candidate management and onboarding arrangements.
• Assist with HR services, workforce initiatives and employee lifecycle activities.
• Support governance and secretariat functions, including papers, agendas and minutes.
• Coordinate activities to ensure efficient operations and service delivery.
• Interpret and apply relevant legislation and governance requirements.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and prepare briefing materials.
