Job summary

face2face Recruitment is seeking an experienced APS6 Senior HR Adviser to join a government organisation in Canberra. The role covers a broad range of People and Culture functions, providing strategic and operational advice on HR matters.

You will advise on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and performance management, support HR systems and reporting, and contribute to WHS governance and capability development. A focus on stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of APS HR frameworks, legislation and policies.
• Experience managing complex and sensitive HR matters.
• Experience using data and analytics to improve HR processes.
• Australian citizenship is required, along with a Baseline Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Providing advice on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and performance management
• Supporting HR systems, reporting and capability development initiatives
• Contributing to WHS governance, risk management and employee wellbeing
