HorizonOne Recruitment Pty is assisting a newly established Australian Government agency to recruit a Senior HR Advisor (APS6). The role will establish workforce reporting, people analytics and organisational design from the ground up, with hybrid work across Australia.

You will lead development of dashboards, governance, and reporting processes, partnering with managers and executives to inform decision making and workforce strategy.

Qualifications

• Strong HR knowledge and understanding of how workforce information informs decisions.
• Experience preparing, analysing or interpreting workforce data and metrics.
• Understanding of workforce reporting, analytics, planning, position management or organisational design.
• Ability to spot trends and explain them clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience setting up or improving business processes, systems or reporting arrangements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating projects and delivering agreed outcomes.
• Australian citizenship with Baseline security clearance eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day workforce reporting and shape the agency's data and design capability.
• Develop workforce reports, dashboards and insights for managers and governance forums.
• Contribute to a workforce reporting framework, processes and data quality controls.
• Assist with position management and organisational design, ensuring accurate data.
• Coordinate the APS Employee Census, analyse results and help action plans.
• Analyse workforce trends, risks and opportunities to support planning advice.
• Support coordination of learning and development programs.
• Prepare high-quality reports, briefs and recommendations.
